The Pearl of the South, Santo Domingo's Western Region
07/31/09 07:30
Santo Domingo, now known as the Dominican Republic, is a place of exasperating beauty and full of joyful Caribbean pleasures. As the first island rediscovered by Christopher Columbus, Santo Domingo is truly a heavenly slice of the Caribbean pie.
The Pearl of the South is what is said when referring to the western region. Its stunning coastline and discrete, pristine beaches are elements of magic when compared to the rest of the world. Visit Santo Domingo, it will be worth wild.
