In a country like the Dominican Republic, don't ever think that the things that you can do are limited to visiting the jungles and enjoying the waters around the coasts of the country. Santo Domingo, the capital, itself can give you a number of opportunities to sit back, relax, and enjoy Dominican culture as it unfolds right in front of your eyes. Sometimes, on some levels, Dominican culture is even inviting of cultures from around the world to help it achieve a fused culture of some sort.
