Dominican Republic expands its presence in global tourism industry 01/29/10 15:11 It seems that the Dominican Republic does not want to stop itself from intensely promoting its tourism industry. Why would it stop, when 1 in every 7 jobs in the country is involved in this sector? Tourism is a main driver of growth for the country. I don't think it would be in the state that it is in right now if not for tourism. They're lucky to have some of the greatest coasts in the Caribbean.
