Punta Cana? Point sugar cane is the name in English. It is a municipality of Altagracia province, in the far east of the Dominican Republic. It is completely surrounded by white sanded beaches and a deep layer of coconut trees. Several years ago Mr. Frank Rainieri almost single handedly discovered this masterpiece by flying around in small planes and purchasing large tracts of this land at cut rate prices. Now it has become an emporium of luxury hotels, resorts, housing developments, etc. There is a lot of land, so the prices have not maxed out yet. Punta Cana has a large international airport. Just fly in and take a look!
