It's been a number of weeks since a killer quake hit and damaged Haiti, destroying much of the governmeng buildings and killing a lot of people in this impoverished country. With this development, people have started to look at its neighbor, the Dominican Republic, to find out what the chances of this nation are if a similar earthquake hits it. Since Haiti's neighbor on Hispaniola Island is way richer, it's already expected that a lot of its structures are earthquake-resistant.
